A Break From Convention

Sustainable building with SIPs:

SIPs (Structural Insulated Panel) are sustainably sourced nontoxic OSB board panels made from young/fast growing trees that are used to sandwich a thick layer of thermosetting polymer insulation.

The insulation is made from a finite source. However, there is strong evidence that the overall C02 emissions from construction through to long term living are dramatically reduced compared to that of traditional building techniques.

• Overall build time is 60% faster • Decrease in transport emissions (UK/locally manufactured) • No need for heavy plant machinery to install • Decrease in labour & labour costs • Robust • High thermal performance • Improved indoor air quality • Decreased long term energy costs

With excellent thermal performance and fast build speed, SIPs are a simple and speedy way to achieve energy efficiency in new builds and extensions.
